The Critical Contingency Management Plan (CCMP) is a document that defines pressure thresholds for the transmission system, outlines how curtailment will be implemented, describes the communications between the transmission system owner and the critical contingency operator, and includes contact details for parties connected to or who use the transmission system.
First Gas is consulting on a revised draft CCMP that will incorporate changes necessary to align it to the new transmission code (GTAC) and supporting IT system, both of which are scheduled to go live from 1 October 2019. Available below are the draft CCMP, in both clean and marked-up versions, First Gas’s amendment timetable, and a copy of the email to stakeholders that outlines the proposed revisions.
Stakeholders wishing to make a submission on the draft CCMP should email it to James.Murch@firstgas.co.nz by 5.00pm, Friday 28 June 2019.
Please note that, in the interim, the CCMP approved by Gas Industry Co on 22 February 2017 remains in force.
The Transmission System Map shows the location of the transmission pipelines and gas gates. Both of these documents are available on the CCO's website under Publications.
